FIND OUT ABOUT OUR SITE
Thank you for stopping by to see us. We have worked hard on this website and are proud to say that every animation on the site was made by us. With the exception of the wildlife photographs, every photograph is also all our own work.
This has meant a great deal of work by the children at computer club, during playtimes and dinner times and at home using the school's laptops.
If you follow the link at the bottom of the page you will go on a tour of our village and school, finally sitting in on a couple of lessons.

The philosophy of this school puts the child very much at the centre of the education process. Children at Dundrennan have a major input into the purchases made for the school from the capitation allowance and are always consulted on the choice of books for the library. The children were asked for their views of how the school should promote itself and move forward. They wanted a website of their own and have had a major input in its production. This website now comprises of about 80 pages.
The jokes page and the quiz pages are run entirely by the older children and updated as often as possible, other pages are worked on by the pupils and the head teacher working together.
Click on the links button and you will find links to more than 60 other websites, both local to this area, for children and if you are a teacher then sources of lesson plans etc.
We hope that you stay to see as much as you have time for and leave us a message in our guestbook.
